Aconteceu na noite desse doming (12), no Dolby Theatre, em Hollywood, a 95ª edição dos Prêmios da Academia, popularmente conhecido como Oscar.

Com apresentação de Jimmy Kimmel, que ocupou o lugar de anfitrião pela terceira vez, o evento premiou os melhores filmes durante o ano de 2022.

Como era de se esperar, o sucesso "Everything Everywhere All at Once" dominou a premiação com 7 estatuetas, incluindo melhor filme e melhor atriz para Michelle Yeoh, que se torna a primeira mulher asiática a ganhar um Oscar.

O longa de guerra alemão "All Quiet On the Western Front" também se deu bem e levou 4 estatuetas, incluindo melhor filme estrangeiro e melhor trilha original.
